He is gradually easing out of it these days. Honestly he's a bit loathe to just stop wholesale because of the possibility that he could find himself at a game that requires it when he's not geared up and then he'd beat himself up forever for not being able to help. Though I imagine once he gets his inventory skill back that might help out a bit, maybe. But then there's also the practicality of getting into and out of it all the time.

Someone like Lloyd or Chariot could probably talk to him about the merits of not wearing armor all the damn time and that might help the gradual process.
