Lucifer doesn't really see himself in relation to humans, he sees himself and everyone else, because from his very first memory it was very obvious he just does not act in the way most people do. For example! A woman who is obsessively in love with him and mindlessly loyal to him, whose life he had apparently saved at one point, tells him she will do anything for him so he immediately tells her to murder his brother, someone Lucifer cares about and is probably the only other person she might still care about.
He didn't do this because he hates either of them, or is really invested in seeing either die, and in fact I do genuinely believe that Lucifer loves Michael in his own way. But while most people would be like HM I WON'T HURT WHAT I LOVE BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE ME SAD, Lucifer just... doesn't process that way. He inherently challenges ANYTHING that might POSSIBLY restrict him, including his own emotions. And he's really fucking good at it. He is not like Acedia, who will rebel against feelings and then feel like shit afterward. Lucifer is always 100% in control of himself, his actions, his desires, expectations, interactions and so forth. So he is just honestly built (or broken down) in such a way that he can destroy everything that cares about and not bat and eye. Probably the largest part of his core character is a refusal to be bound by anything, and this shows even in how he deals with emotion.
Anyway! So that is him but he knows that he is alone in this. Even demons are not as heartless as he is. Bal (the woman who he told to kill Michael), showed loyalty. Lucifer doesn't do loyalty, as it is a binding agent. He is just flat out the guy who gives the least fucks.
THAT SAID. Lucifer does not really feel the need to prove himself much, to himself or anyone else. He is 100% certain that if he felt like raping Yuri he would do it, and your feelings would not matter. Props to you if you enjoy it, but Lucifer does what he wants, and while he is not 'evil' in the way people expect, he is okay with doing evil, so the more traditional definition of rape is absolutely something he is capable of. That said, he was fully aware that Yuri might take it as a turn on/dominance type of thing, and that is okay by him too \o/ Because that was also true. It's just that MOST PEOPLE have boundaries they won't cross, and Lucifer does not. But because Lucifer already knows that about himself and doesn't really give a fuck what others think about him, he doesn't do a lot of bad shit just to prove he can. That itself is something done by those who are restricted by the perceptions of others, which is again, a chain that he shuns.
Lucifer might still occasionally do awful things FOR THE LULZ. because he does have an inherent darkness in him and he is a sadist, but he doesn't very often. Mostly because 'needing to do what makes me happy' is itself limiting, and thus he does not naturally consider fulfilling secondary desires (like pleasure) to be very important. Having Bal fight Michael was strategic: Michael is one of a very small group of angels that can pose a physical thread to Lucifer, but Michael is emotionally unstable so making him fight someone he once cared for threw him off of game. Buuuut for the most part Lucifer does very little just because it is funny or makes him happy (but he does more so as he gets more human).
As for specifically in relation to humans, he is mooore aware of this due to talks in aather, but his mental processing is still Me - Everyone else, and then how humans compare to other species.
