Pretty close actually... what he mostly got out of Acedia's memory was 'wow this is the only guy who takes fighting seriously in this entire universe'. And since Hibari FOUGHT UNTIL HE COULDN'T MOVE Dawn did gather that he takes it VERY seriously... And since Hibari has been tolerant toward him he hasn't actually seen much of Hibari's totally insane irrationality.

Hibari is more... petulant... than he expected. It's definitely cute. And he's heard enugh about him from Dino to have the vague idea that this kid is a little crazy, but nothing really sticks out of him as a point of worry or contention so he's just like derp derp this is a cool guy to hang out with.

Are Dawn and Yuri ever really going to have a sleep over and talk about crazy boyfriends.

When our social link ups, hell. or, at the very least, Dawn, Yuri, and Dino will all have a sleepover together and cook pizza together.

So what is going on with Dino and Dawn? Does Dawn have a crush on him or are they just good friends?

SO. no Dawn doesn't have a crush. It's pretty hard for him to crush on men because it has to be purely emotional, and you basically have to fall into one of two categories: VAN, or someone Dawn feels really really strong empathy for. The latter pretty much amounts to people who he knows well enough that he can feel strong empathy for them, and the reason that only Acedia and Dusk have made it into this category is because they're the only ones who have been that open about their past and their feelings. Dino is very closed off and thus Dawn is limited in that area.

So it's weird because Dino has, since the beginning, flirted really openly with Dawn, kissed him several times, even romantically. And it's kind of bizarre because kissing Dino has more blushy dere feelings involved than kissing people he knows and cares for more (Acedia, Nii...). It kind of CONFUSES DAWN'S SIGNALS because on one hand they aren't that close?? on the other hand there are feelings in make outs??? But Dawn has very little baseline on... how sexual relationships are, or what 'rules' there are or anything so he can't reach a complicated conclusion like "Dino holds himself apart from people but is a romantic at heart and genuinely fond of me so when we do something intimate like kissing he does his best to include an emotional element even if it isn't entirely true". ALL HE KNOWS IS KISSING DINO IS WEIRD BUT PLEASANT?

BUT THEN Dino asked Dawn to join the mafia and Dawn was like 'k' because he has no concept of the importance of groups to people. He ultimately decided to STAY in the mafia because Dino is someone he cares about and he wants to support him, but later he felt guilty because Dawn's group mentality is non-existent and he was worried Dino would get upset at him for the same reasons Acedia and Wrath do, so he came clean. And Dino was like "I like you because you think differently from me so you should just keep being your yourself (=" and Dawn was like ".////////////." and that was probably the first time he felt something in the DIRECTION of a genuine crush for Dino. Tho they are still kind of firmly separated by the fact that Dino is aloof and a liar and Dawn doesn't even know it yet. HOWEVER the fact that Dawn is not in the mafia and Dino seems to be pretty genuinely dere for him (even if he is still an aloof liar) meaaans I won't be surprised if it eventually goes somewhere...

OVER TO THUSIA how is Yuri feeling about his death and this new situation.

Yuri is repressin' hard and is in full party leader mode! Let's get shit done! With snark! As much as he tsuns at Del, he is glad to be alive and realizes it's not her fault they died.

If you tap into his inside, under his inner monologue and checklist of things they need Yuri is pissed off and miserable that Flynn is dead because Flynn always did the right thing and he became Commandant against all odds and he was finally going to turn the Empire around and then he died. So he's mad at himself for not protecting him and mad at THE UNIVERSE for letting him die. Same goes with Rita. He is waaaay more upset about what the world without the Imperial Commandant and Rita, the top researcher, than he is about being dead himself, though it pains him intensely to think of Karol alone.

He is kind of Eh about the situation in general. he is in Party Leader Mode so all he cares about is getting shit done. First thing when he gets settled tho is how do I get Flynn and Rita home?

Slick's feelings, especially on Yuri and Gerasimos.

Slick thinks all feelings should go fuck themselves. Having Link here is a minor issue, because he mostly associates Link with Allen and UGH MY ALLEN FEELINGS. He doesn't actually care about being dead so much as he cares about not seeing Allen ever again, but yanno. LIFE! WHATEVER! I just want to kill things get out

Yuri seems like a nice guy, and Slick definitely likes him best of the group so far. He doesn't rub things in Slick's face tooo much, genuinely cares, but only from a distance. Basically the kind of guy Slick would otherwise like hanging out with anyway, and he's pretty! And the bunny ears are hilarious. This will increase/when/if we plug in the DD canon but for right now it's just like. Interesting and tolerable dude.

GER...YOU SHOULD PICK UP because right now all Slick really has is LOL GOD ISSUES. Mainly, for all that Slick is all about bad decisions, he is pretty good about respecting the tier of authority. He will snark at a god a little, or be blunt, but he won't outright be a dick. He basically is well aware they can squish his head (or tear away his few threads of sanity) and he would rather they not. He also isn't really a fighter, per se, so he kind of accepts that even if he is cranky about it, if a god gives him orders, he's going to follow it, but it's not like he enjoys having people with that level of authority over him hanging around when he isn't otherwise personally fond of them.

BASICALLY Ger makes Slick intensely uncomfortable because he isn't used to gods even TRYING to appear nice, and he's not sure what to do with a god that actually cares what he thinks of them (he doesn't believe they can actually BE nice the way people are, so it must be an attempt to win him over and in that case WHAT DO YOU WANT). But it's mostly the... hints of something, the lack of anything concrete that bothers him. If he can get a finger on what someone wants (god or not) he feels pretty comfortable dealing with them in just about any circumstance. The lack of knowledge combined with the 'this guy might just squish my head if he doesn't like what I say but i guess he wants to be friends because he is giving me free shit' is unnerving.

Yuri is too deep into party leader mode to really have feelings about anyone. He likes Slick, though, and is grateful to have someone to snark with. It's a small, much-needed relief valve.

Ger luv Slick already 8D First instinct to go out and murder some stuff? Yes. And then he comes back all covered in blood and in pain and pretty and it's just like. Hmm yes I like you quite a lot. In general, though, Gerasimos is coming across more mellow than I had visioned--at least surface-wise. It's like you said to me the other day; the gods NEED humans, not for something but as a function of their existence, so there is some actual genuine warmth in their relationships, even from Ger.

How is Del doing?

Del is just aflurry with feelings everywhere *.* OH HER BABIES ARE BACK, THEY CAME HOME, KYA KYA, I MUST TAKE CARE OF THEM. At the same time, for all that she has an underlying level of yan and crazy, it really only activates during times of extreme stress or upset. She was GENUINELY UPSET that Slick was hurt, both because she loves him and because WHY U STUPID BOY!!! But she is also ancient and used to humans being stupid so =T =T =T she is really good at rolling her sleeves up and getting shit done. She won't get wishywashy over things that can be easily handled. So, Slick wasn't going to die and the others could get her a sacrifice so she could fix it fully! No need to panic.

Stuff like Yuri sniping at her DOES get to her. Basically anything that makes her feel attacked is going to get her goat a little, and it could eventually drive her into a fury of yan and/or martyrdom. But little jabs are just like =T DEAR do mind your tone =T =T. She won't pretend like she isn't aware of it tho 8D;

Overall tho yes she feels pretty fabulous. She has babies again after a long streak of loneliness and insanity and it has her in a pretty good way right now.
