What were Yuri's thoughts behind revealing himself to Flynn? Also how we doing?

He really was going to wait at least a couple days on that but Flynnn brought it up and Flynn was being FLYNN and as far as Yuri knows Flynn still HATES HIM, SO... Most it was out of a desire not to be deceptive. He didn't want it to go like; And then he and Flynn got really close again and then Flynn found out he was a murdered and went back to hating him AGAIN.

So right now we are... awkward. Yuri has no idea where he is with Flynn. He's not sure he wants to know. he's simultaneously drawn to Flynn because of their shared history but also repulsed by him because he doesn't want to drag Flynn down or be rejected by Flynn and a million other reasons.

Reverse!

Flynn is ... likewise awkward with Yuri. Not remembering any of it makes things hard, but seeing Yuri's memories did give him some perspective into how they interact. He does want to trust himself when he was younger. He doesn't believe that he'd make the promise that he'd made to Yuri if he didn't trust him completely. Likewise, the memory of him yelling at Yuri and Yuri taking his place in Danghrest solidify that Yuri is someone he knew he could depend on, even if he sometimes dragged his feet about things or went about them the wrong way. That's mostly where he sees the whole murder thing coming up. Flynn's first memory was of someone linked to Cumore's corruption and how he couldn't catch Cumore at it on his own, so he understands Yuri's frustration. Since Raven spilled the beans on Alexei as well so Flynn has some doubt on his own path. If the system is so corrupt it's definitely a good impetus to take matters into your own hands but he doesn't think this justifies Yuri's actions.

Still, they were friends, and here they're fighting for a shared goal with no captains to worry about killing or anything else. He just really wishes that he could have a better understanding of what happened to them in the past and what happened with them before Aather.

How does Yuri feel about Vincent and Flynn getting on?

Umm he has no particular feelings on the matter? Really, Yuri trusts Vincent to be Vincent and he knows that Vincent won't overcomplicate things with Flynn because that would be... complicated! He is mostly cautious that Vincent will try to troll Flynn and by extension troll him.

What does Flynn think of Aather so far?

Flynn thinks Aather is great! Everyone is very helpful and while he wishes the darkness weren't an issue, it gives him something to work toward and to set as his purpose. Though he does recognize that he left work undone back home, he's all right with addressing the issue here before returning back to take care of things.

But yeah Aather's awesome and full of awesome people.

How is Yuri's view of Aather as a whole?

YURI IS VERY ADRIFT. Technically, he has a lot of stuff going... on... but nothing really going on. He feels like he can't get his hands on anything; not on Vincent, not on Flynn. SOUNDS CORNY but he feels fairly alone, which is possibly why he was grabbing for Vincent so hard. He's aware of an intense desire to have something to do, something to stay busy with. He feels kind of emptyyyy inside; no strong feelings or strong motivations, just agitated.

Bluh bluh bluh, nothing good! While logic trumped emotions with his brothers dipping out, he did loosen up with Obsidian. So, he does sort of listlessly feel something in that direction, but it's not anything he could really put his finger on. He could even have just been frustrated and tired from the situation with Yuri, and it was not at all related to his siblings, haha.

Of course, he knows that even if he took down the wall that he built between him and Yuri that he would still be crazy and Yuri would still be . . . Yuri. Also, he really does look back at his behavior before finding out his motivation with a lot of loathing, so he really doesn't want to go back to that . . . So, there are no easy solutions all around! He's kind of pouring himself into reading the Bible and doing whatever research he can in the library before he gets back on the Three train.

Yuri hasn't gotten over Elliot being gone yet, has he? Like he didn't get it all out, nor will he . . . Not think of him every day, yeah?

No... not really. It's not really a thing he will get over. Elliot was his liiight and his cornerstone in Aather. He was basically incapable of bad moods as long as he could see Elliot. But at the moment he is very drained and doesn't have the energy to be too emotional over it. He's just, you know, quietly worried that he lost Elliot and is subsequently losing Vincent.

Idk what does Vincent think about Yuri's... feelings...

TIRED OF THEM. ♥ He doesn't mind when they're the result of natural consequences and so on, but Yuri keeps having feelings because of Vincent . . . Which goes right against what Vincent prefers in personal relationships! He likes to keep the affair running smoothly enough that he doesn't get people looking at him for feelings. If they do, then he is up a creek, but he really is not going to respond normally. Like I've said before, he can view the world rather accurately, but he can't see himself within the world for shit.

To an extent, Vincent is petulant even! Yuri keeps thinking that he should act this or that way, but Yuri should be tuned in enough to know when Vincent is hiding and when he's not. So, it's like . . . Why keep pushing an issue that Vincent doesn't seem to have? And he can't even fake it, because he'll get caught for that. Vincent was really against the bracelet, because it wasn't dealing with emotions that was the problem; it was being stripped of his coping mechanisms and having to use someone else's. Hilariously, it's an excellent denial of the self that he is which gets Vincent bothered about, even with the desire to erase himself. The self that smiles all the time and plays with words was the best answer to the previous situation, so Vincent is partial to it . . . But it also doesn't completely suit Aather, so it's a no-win situation.

Just awful, no good, terrible situation. Stop having feelings, Yuri. —In light of the holiday, Yuri's best/worst decisions/dates/gifts/etc for Valentine's Day. Not just with Vincent, but like Chariot and Flynn and Estelle. Whatever you feel like, go wild.

Yeeeah I don't think Valentine's day was EVER a thing for Yuri, even back home. That holiday has never really been for him, and he doesn't exactly synpathize with the spirit in any serious sense. Best decision he can make in that regard is to DO NOTHING as far as Vincent's concerned, cause he knows Vincent would not really appreciate it. He might get him a gift if someone tells him about the holiday, probaby a pair of gloves. He'll probably use the event to flirt with Mithos (since they're married) or Cherry and be sad he can't troll Elliot with it. re: Estelle he will probably just be... oblivious. GJ Yuri. Or he'll think Estelle's being oblivious.

Vincent is that guy with about three different dates lined up for Valentine's Day, then he still manages to get into after-hours trouble. He kind of enjoys it, because the holiday just makes everything so easy. Kid in a candy store, etc etc. That said, he would probably do a round with tokens for the girls in his life, a special gift plus food for Obsidian, then he would take Yuri on a proper date, so he can have a good example for whenever he dares to try again. Honestly, if it were a game, Vincent would win without trying, because he is just so damn good at Valentine's.

What if Vincent said they should split? :?

HMMM. That's harder to predict. He would play it calm and as long as he didn't think Vincent's reasons were stupid he would respect his decision and make sure you know, we can still be friends/brothers right? And I still care about you and love you and that won't change. And he wouldn't go looking for Vincent or bother him unnecessarily and you know on the surface he would be 100% fine!!! He's aware of the futility of trying to cling to Vincent when Vincent's not interested, so he would assume a much more distant position but still look out for him and be there to patch him up when he screwed around. And he would still consider himself a Nightray. He wouldn't give up hope with being with him again but he wouldn't chase him.

Internally it'd be a trainwreck. Vincent was the person who taught Yuri how to want and let him have feelings so the irony of the thing Yuri wants most taking itself away would be lolololol. He'd be like 5x more leery of letting people in and like 10x more leery of sex.

Would he actually?

Haha, his hands are tied. In our current thread, he had a moment where he wanted to just get it out and over with, but he remembered why he hasn't already, so . . . The fact that Yuri is far too locked in for Vincent to set him loose. Plus, he has become part of Vincent's image, as it were, so he would raise a lot of suspicion among Elliot and Gilbert if they were to separate. So, there isn't a lot of internal motivation, while he is following through on the motions because of external reasons.

In a funny way, it kind of tosses back to the conflict of Yuri and Vincent being public or private from way back when. When it's private, the decision on what to do and how to act is very much Vincent's own prerogative, rather than all of these outside influences that he can throw back to. If he were free to act as he'd like, then Vincent would probably close the book between them before pushing too far and ruining something he does truly enjoy.

Well he is a lot more opaque with other people I think (See Lloyd's comment). It'd be more accurate to say he doesn't really EXPRESS a lot of deep/real feelings with other people. So yeah, without Vincent (or rather, with people not Vincent) he would not outwardly express many personal feelings.

Is Vincent unaware of this...

Vincent knows that he pushes for it, but he didn't think that it was an exclusive deal . . . For Vincent, he prefers to be left to his own devices and not have others draw him out. Even then, he has people that still try a lot, who want to make a connection with him as a person. So, for Yuri not to have that from others . . . Well, it means he plays the game better, but it's always disappointing. Vincent does think of Yuri as someone who should be loved as much as he struggles to cope with that. So, yeah, it would just be another reason to look down on people and the concept of humanity for Vincent, if he were truly aware that he was the only one.

Besides, it's not like Yuri isn't easy to play and pander to. It isn't rocket science, gosh. (Y-Yes, it is.)

Yuri on Lloyd and Hibird on Nunnally!

Yuri has positive, demi-tsun feelings for Lloyd... He feels like he still doesn't know Lloyd very well but Lloyd deeefinitely saw him when he was having an emotional thing and that was... that was awk. Yuri has no reference for being fussed over. That said he trusts Lloyd a lot, probably more than he himself realizes. Lloyd is really easygoing so he doesn't really activate his tsun... In general Yuri feels really easy and potentially honest around him.

Hibird luv Nunnally um yes cute girl who pets me. He would sing for the cute girl all day :x

Lloyd doesn't really feel like he has a handle on Yuri! With most people he can map their moods and likely moods pretty well — Yuri is still pretty inscrutable to him, though. He cares about him more than he realized he did and was upset when he got upset, though :(a if he had a wish in the relationship it would be to be able to track Yuri better so he could offer support better if it was needed.

Yuri's opaqueness has the side effect of making him a liiiittle less transparent than he usually would be, which isn't a bad thing exactly :|a it is just Lloyd's tendency to let the other person set limits in the conversation when he doesn't quite have his feet and it isn't something he feels PASSIONATE!! about. Lloyd's less-transparent is not that veiled though tbh.

How is Hibari doing with Iolite?

Remarkably well, actually. He has relegated Spitfire and Jaina as "those emotional people" and doesn't have much truck with them BUT he is kind of tsunly fond of Obsidian, Neji doesn't get on his nerves, he and Kyouko are chill, and his current goal is to flip Vincent's crazy switch. He has been satisfied with their performance in all of the games he has played with them so far and really, that's the most important thing. He still doesn't hang out at Iolite a lot but well, it's Hibari.

Any plans with Leon?

What sort of plans and aspirations does Nunnally have?

Nunnally's hopes and aspirations on the surface of them are pretty simple! She wants to live happily in Aather with her brothers and her team. Hhhowever right now she is kind of going through a minor Thing :D;; where she has realized that both Lelouch and Rolo have made contracts for personal power, which she believes to be explicitly harmful thanks to having Homura on her team. This seriously ups her hostility levels towards C.C. since the geass contract was explained to her in the context of just hearing about how being a magical girl is suffering earlier that day, and also makes her wonder if she'll need to get some kind of similar power to help them. It doesn't help that the skill game happened not long afterwards and she was a time-stopping thunder god with a unicorn who didn't need to rely on a wheelchair; external power is suddenly way more attractive.

All in all she might or might not be poised on making some bad decisions at some point in the future!

Three unexpected but amazing relationships that have come up for you because of amnesiagame that would have been impossible in a normal jamjar? And why they would not have been possible otherwise.

Uh Vincent and Yuri definitely tops this list. In a normal game Yuri would have thought Vincent was a creep and probably would have hit on Gilbert just to piss him off! And Vincent would have never opened up to him and vice versa and. Yeah. The stars aligned for these two. Terrible, wonderful stars.

I also feel like Yuri and Mithos would not have developed they way they have in a regular game! I don't know Mithos' canon but presumably he'd be a lot more closed off?

For the last one I will cheat and say ALL OF KAZU'S CR. He really developed perfectly... Confident but still derp, and most importantly, just that little edge of brociopathy.

Lloyd and Mithos is the obvious one — we've played them in a normal panfandom game and while there's always going to be investment there, the best they can really do is bare tsunfunctionality with their canon backgrounds tripping them up. Instead they are married!

Lloyd and Ratatosk also never had a chance to meet at all in canon till endgame, because by the time Lloyd really started hanging out with Emil, it was late enough in the game that the real plot was revealed and Emil had sealed Ratatosk away. So their relationship just could not happen in canon and it's adorable and full of tsun and murderous rage.

Shadowchild and Mukuro is the last one probably because in a canon setting, it would have immediately recognized some of his ideas as "bad" and would have disliked him for them. 8|;

HMM not a super lot but since Judy has been back Yuri does have a whole new appreciation for her in light of the total degredation of his relationship with Raven and with everything else going to hell. He feels like Judy will always be a staple.

Yuri is definitely a staple for her too. She actually needs to tell him all the things she's been up to, and she's making a mental note to do that. As well as tell him that the dinner with Iolite went over well, though she didn't consider her teammates as much with that one... whoops... Anyway, yeah, she feels on more solid ground with Yuri than she did right before she left, and she's pretty glad for that, all in all.

Are you and Raven ever gonna make up...

IT'S NOT... LOOKING GOOD... They almost had a normal conversation but then Raven started nagging him about aer and gave him this whole attitude like it was Yuri's job to make him feel better and Yuri was being irresponsible again (which he wasn't). The conversation before that Raven was hugely patronizing, blamed him for having sex with him, shoved all the blame for their relationship on Yuri, and basically told Yuri he shouldn't be happy because he wasn't a good enough knight so... yeah. Yuri's done chasing after him.

How's Judy's love life?

Judith is more comfortable with her love life than she ever has been in aather. While she still really, really misses mal, she's also pretty damn aware that they weren't compatible in some very fundamental ways. And it's for that reason she wasn't as comfortable with sharing as she probably will be with Guy. But it was kind of nice to come back and pretty much immediately get a confession from someone she already really trusted in aather. And so she doesn't want to ruin that feeling by telling everyone. So she's been more tight lipped than she really means to be, even of she's happier for it. And then raven put the idea of her and Lloyd in her head, which is more amusing. But she's comfortable enough with what she has to feel okay trolling. So. Yes. Much happier than she has been. And she may tell yuri that if he isn't having too much trouble himself.

Yuri is antisocial and cranky in Thusia which is actually kind of hilarious to play out. Like I thought he would come out of it but he's just NOT. All he wants to do is hang out with Flynn and Slick. Honestly, I have no idea about Yuri's feelings on the Slick thing--this might actually flip a switch for him. Because Slick has been SUCH A THING for him and. Yeah. He might lose it a little.

How do you think Slick will feel about both his boyfriend and his not boyfriend freaking out while he is gone.

PROBABLY BE SORT OF 8|a? He doesn't quite get people worrying over him. Regaining his sanity actually was a large blow to his self worth so he can now fully appreciate the irony of anyone caring about his health or safety. What did Spitfire think of it?

He couldn't actually tell a difference most of the time. Mostly because people outside of a small group of people ceased to exist and he never even bothered talking to them. He had some people within the group go "you're acting really weird D:" and he was confused and had no idea what they were talking about. Once he only took the charm off a couple of times, once with Obsidian (and put it right back on) and once with King (and put it back on after playing with the burupyas). Basically... he didn't really think about it until after the game though. Because he then went to talk to people he's casually acquainted with who just... didn't exist as far as he was concerned before. It probably would have had a larger impact if he didn't have an established group of people who were his. Plus flying trumped talking to people about things anyway |D;;

He probably would have been happier getting some of Hibari's brawl skill since that's something he knows he's lacking, but it's mostly just... he didn't like it after the fact, but didn't notice it while in effect... at all.

It didn't really change how he views Kyouya. Just helped him get why he's not social as much.
