I'm really not kidding. Vincent wasn't particularly running any deep thoughts or giving himself the room to. He was letting Yuri set the ground for what he wants out Vincent, since Vincent cannot have his own desires. I mean, his desire is for self-obliteration, so Yuri is always going to counter that . . . So, make up your own! Vincent will be whatever Yuri presents himself as desiring, but wanting the truth doesn't mean that he will receive it.
Also, Yuri really doesn't have a clue about how Vincent or his mind works! It isn't bad; it could be a saving grace, actually. But Yuri seems to think of Vincent as this completely unremorseful person who doesn't feel pain or sorrow for actions made . . . And Ariel thought the very same thing, so he isn't going to get caught into that loop again. If he feels sorrow, then it is for him to know and for others to die trying to figure out. Even putting blame on Demios rather than realizing that it was Vincent, all Vincent, in control is such a slap in the face! But it proves that he's still an enigma and a mystery to others which is about the most that he could hope for, especially when Yuri knows the most about his inner-workings which seems to be nil to none.
So, yes, Yuri doesn't know what the hell he is doing, and Vincent is going to be strung along with that. It will be extremely painful on both sides, but they are really both to blame at this point . . . So, who cares!
RE: WHAT'S NEXT.
Nothing . . . Vincent will draw into himself and let Yuri put himself out there. He has done more than enough to expose himself and his desires, so the other side needs to be played now. Yuri has to realize the utter futility of his actions, or accept that he will be lied to and deceived in order to have some semblance of happiness. The cards are on the table, and Vincent has already played his hand.
