Question meme
Will you look at that; it has been ~exactly~ a month and a day since my last question meme! Well, since so many things have been happening...
This question meme applies to Yuri Lowell, Hibari Kyouya, and Thusia (Yuri, Squalo, Henrietta, Gerasimos).

And then conveniently, Gilbert. Yuri has always found Gil to be a nice guy but he is also intensely frustrated with him because he basically considers him to be incompetent where Vincent is concerned--either he doesn't notice his brother is needy and crazy or he doesn't know how to deal with it, and both of these things are useless to Yuri! But at the same time Gilbert is the KEY to helping
Vincent and, well, also Yuri's romantic rival. So Yuri is very divisive where Gil is concerned. There is a part of him that 1. Considers Gil only in regards to his utility 2. Recognizs Gil as his own person with his own problems and also his brother, same as Ellie 3. Is jealous of Gil for being the main object of Vincent's affection and not even appreciating it!!
Just a few days ago Yuri was telling Mithos and Lloyd that in all likelihood Gil NEEDED to be here to help Vincent get over his self-destruction thing but lately he's been gaining more confidence and was getting into an attitude of okay, maybe I CAN do this myself. So when Gil showed up it was simultaneous Oh thank god this will be so much easier and GOD GET OUT OF MY WAY GILBERT!!! And then:
TL;DR his thread with Gil was like: frustration with Gil → Elliot feelings → Gil dere → WORRY ABOUT VINCENT → MORE GIL DERE AND FEELINGS OF VULNERABILITY → FUCK FUCK GODDAMMIT OZ → uuuh that is some kind of inordinate flipping out possible plot point?! → OKAY SO about your brother Vincent → TBC...
What was Echo's view of the situation?

lol oh god
Echo didn't know what to make of Gilbert showing up! Which... is why she asked Yuri. IS THIS GOOD OR BAD, tell me, you know Vincent best right?? She knows that Vincent is obsessed with Gilbert from her memories, but she had no idea why that was since she doesn't know Gilbert very well. WHAT IF HE IS FUCKED UP LIKE VINCENT, LIKE MINDS, ETC!? So, upon hearing that Gilbert's arrival was a good thing, and that he was a good person, she tried to shrug it off, even if she was still concerned about Zwei's and Gilbert's conflict in another memory.
Then Oz was telling Gil things and THAT WAS A BIG WARNING SIGN. At the very least she thinks Gilbert HATES Vincent, which alone cannot bide well. And surely Zwei didn't go completely unmentioned. Echo was thinking that, if Gil remembers Zwei controlling him like that, then this is doubly worse (BUT I DON'T THINK HE DOES, DOES HE.) So. Yeah. Echo is relieved to have quickly ditched the scene like that.
Any update on our CR?

Her opinion of him hasn't changed too much since last time. That isn't to say it hasn't improved, though, because it has! For instance, she is extra comfy talking about Vincent openly with him. It's nice that Yuri knows enough about her world and the situation that she can simply talk about it with him without worrying about this and that. She trusts he doesn't run back to Vincent with this stuff. Echo still looks up to him, because he continues to fit her ideal idea of what a knight should be, and for the fact that they DO have similar standings on morals and whatnot. That, or he's receptive and doesn't try to change her mind the way Turquoise does. She notices that he's concerned for her, and she is actually not bothered by this like she normally would be—it's actually comforting, in a way. However, she's worried that Yuri thinks getting rid of Zwei would hurt her, but since it's YURI saying it, and not Turquoise, she's giving it some thought.
In the latest thread she was suuuuper relieved and thankful that Yuri told her to leave. No having to stand there and have awkward conversation while watching Gilbert lose his shit, just go to Turquoise. THANK YOU FOR BEING A MINDFUL/WATCHFUL ADULT, YURI LOWELL.
tl;dr if Echo ever (haha 'if' and 'ever'? pshhh) goes HELP I NEED AN ADULT!! Yuri will be the first to come to mind.
What does Yuri think about PH world from what he's heard/who he's met/etc?
no subject
IN OTHER WORDS... a world not unlike his own!!! Yuri is not optimistic enough to think that words are all THAT different. They all have their good points and their bad points. I mean, it's the same world Sharon come form, and she's pretty wonderful. Not a place he really wants to visit, though! Too many nobles.
Do you (or Echo) have any happy end plans? Going home? Staying in Aather? World hopping?

Personally I am going with whatever makes Echo content. Her life sucks, so I might as well be a nice player in the end lol. \:'D/
How about Yuri?
no subject
But that will probably not happen since Vin will not want to leave Gil who in turn will not want to leave Oz who probably wants to go back to his own home! He wants to stay with Vincent first and foremost, so they will probably end in them bumming around Aather.
I remember reading a bit of Echo's thread in that one world-creating Three game--what kinds of things does Echo desire? What kind of life does she want?
no subject
Another thing she's given thought to making Aather into a pleasant place to live with no drawbacks like TRAUMA GAMES and TERRIBLE THINGS and LIMITATIONS. We only have Selenia to blame because he actually put these ideas into her head, or at least the start of them, because Echo did get carried away when trying to dream up what kind of place it would be. When she first stepped into the world-creating game, she wanted to test her skills by making a 'beautiful world,' which is the basis of the idea between Selenia and herself. Echo DOES realize that this is stupid and unrealistic, but... it's ideal and she likes it. It sounds great. It's like a dream. Selenia has her thinking that taking the Personae's power should be enough to do something about it, and WHAT DO YOU KNOW, she potentially has Doldum! Surely Doldum can help accomplish some of this, or at least set them on the right track.
Overall, the life she wants is a peaceful one where she's free and enjoying life the way she's never gotten to before. After all, her life consisted of serving Vincent; girl didn't get out much, and she never thought she'd see places outside the cities at her own leisure.
O-oh Yuri, coping by getting high with Turquoise. How does he feel after that thread with Gilbert?
