Question meme

His tsun from Lloyd comes, more obviously, from the times Lloyd has seen him just totally lost and frustrated and on the edge of having a breakdown. He is aware it's probably not a big deal for Lloyd but it will basically never NOT be really embarrassing for him. Also Lloyd's modus operandi around Aather reminds him of Flynn if Flynn wasn't such a hard-headed goody two-shoes so that's just the whipped tsun topping on the tsun cake. And he kind of fulfills the same roll as Flynn does--reminds him that there's good in the world, and possibility to change.

Then it gets more subtler... I was thinking about how sex with Lloyd and Yuri would go and realized that it would actually be pretty nerve-wracking for Yuri because, as he told Lloyd, he never knows what Lloyd is going to do! He and Vincent both are SUPER SUPER cue dependent (especially with sex) and Lloyd just... totally surpasses cues. He's so straightforward in his actions he always sidelines Yuri and Yuri, much like a cat, does not like to be seen losing his footing.

How is Lloyd doing with being able to read Yuri these days?

sob i actually think that sex between yuri and lloyd would go really badly for yuri at first for partly what you just said and partly because of the way lloyd approaches sex. I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT TOO LAST NIGHT :Xa

he still doesn't do great at reading yuri, i think, because he is not a subtle nuances guy. but he doesn't care as much any more because SINCE he has seen yuri at the edge more, he feels like he understands him better whether he can read him or not - his motivations etc, if that makes sense - and he trusts what he feels he understands about him. so he doesn't really need to know yuri's immediate plans or thoughts, just offer support, cos he feels like he knows and trusts him. he does think it'd be a relief for yuri to open up a little more but w/e w/e yuri's gonna yuri and he's comfortable with that too.

why did yuri start flirting with him...

Well! His day went like this: Tsun at Flynn → proactively engage sex with boyfriend for the first time in a LONG time → sex goes fairly wel!!! → get slightly buzzed and take a loooong nap.

One of the biggest things in Yuri and Vincent's relationship is Yuri NEVER pushes too hard for sex because in the past, Vincent has let him push and then faked enjoying it which is really, really horrifying to Yuri. Also Vincent does not like being topped which adds another degree of passivity to Yuri. But he was so frustrated from talking to Flynn he just went for it and rather than backfiring horribly it worked out okay and they both sincerely enjoyed themselves even if there is still room for improvement. So after he took a long nap and when he woke up he was feeling pretty zen and confident--god a good read on Vincent and had fantastic sex, WINNING.

So flirting with Lloyd was just a sort of whim from being on a winning streak, and also nostalgia for their torrid affairs in the past (which do tend to occur at parties) and then Lloyd was dense and Yuri thought it would be fun to push and see how far he could take it before Lloyd noticed. He doesn't do it normally because of the aforementioned embarrassment but he was feeling confident enough that he thought he could handle it, and besides, he was having some dere for Lloyd's Lloydness.

Lloyd's thoughts on VILLAINS IN AATHER. Does he touch them on purpose or does that just sort of happen?
