Question meme mostly for Yuri Lowell's facebecause I, too, want to be cool but also applies to any and everyone I have, do, or will play on the internet forever.
1. Yes, he did surprise himself. He always told himself that if Vincent decided to break things off, then that was that. And he almost just let it happen, but then Vincent kept running his mouth saying how it was a 'nice dream' and everything in Yuri just NOPE.GIF'D violently. In general he was shocked by how wretched the whole thing made him. Yuri is definitely not use to feelings things THAT hard, especially negative things. If Vincent had really wanted to see Yuri cry, that may have been a good time, because he was really a mess and it wouldn't have taken much of the right pushing.
2. Dereeeeeee. Dere dere dere. He and Guy aren't exactly 'close' yet—they haven't talked about much heavy stuff—but he feels pretty open and comfortable with him. he even felt comfortable enough to indulge himself and explore his kink with Guy! And that's definitely new territory for Yuri. But in the meantime they do seem to be gravitating towards each other, like with the Odile game and even there Guy immediately pinpointed his distress and calmed him down. He is, in a way, addicted to Vincent; even with everything else going his way still nobody made him feel the way Vincent does. Sure, when it's bad it's bad, but when it's good it's ridiculously good and after glimpsing into the abyss where that doesn't exist he's more determined than ever to keep a hold of it. He's convinced the stars really did align when it comes to him and Vincent—Yuri can always expect to have fun flings or fun friendships but there's never going to be as crazy or passionate as this particular rollercoaster.
BUT that said they need to thread again before Yuri can really settle his mind on it. For that moment, it was really enjoyable and I guess you could say it revitalized Yuri a bit.
Yuri is not terribly excited about the new realm, despite the snazzy outfits. Looks like there's going to be a lot of ENVIRONMENTAL SHENANIGANS and he just wants to go back to the forest god dammit.
Mmm, it appeals to his aesthetics. I mean, chess board, hedge maze, twists and warps in space . . . He is a little disappointed in Iolite's appearance, but he hopes that it will improve given time. He also misses the cliffs, since he spent so much time there with Obsidian.

Well, Vincent has been trying and has wanted to for some time, but it was Yuri who kept saying no. He figures that his need for Vincent overwhelmed his caution . . . Vincent would give himself some credit for acting appropriately in a few places, but he isn't that full of himself. So, it was a very nice moment, an interlude, but he's going to wait to see if it truly lasts and goes anywhere. He would like it to, but when does Vincent ever get what he wants?
It was a great contrast to sex with Gilbert, though. He is open and exposed with both of them, but in different ways, so it's such an odd balancing act. He really appreciate his sex life with Yuri from the absence and then getting to sleep with Yuri again. Most of the boat ride is centered around the third bullet, though, because it was a HUGE DEAL: Vincent and Yuri had been on the rocks and while we haven;t threaded them since that went a long way towards smoothing things out.
It was more of a ping :|a I guess Prince's whole air of... resignedness and duty really raised Yuri's hackles, even before the whole Maleficent thing. In Yuri's eyes, Flynn's the only one who can really pull off true nobility of chazracter, and that's because he doe sit naturally.
He's pretty much on the road to Harem End because the idea of dating, especially dating Mikado, is weird! But there's the sexual attraction there and he really does treasure Mikado. He just... also treasures a lot of other people, and hilariously Flynn actually influenced him a lot re: friends with benefits ideas. And... he really enjoys the intimacy and comfort sex gives, and the push and pull, and. :x H-HE ENJOYS IT A LOT, the one thing he would change is EVERYONE KNOWING ABOUT IT because it's still a v. intimate thing for him. It'll be hard for Yuri because he's been getting more and more distant from his the goings on of Terca Lumireis. He takes his memories but his mind is always focused on Aather, outside of some minor nostalgia and some buried plans to bring Vincent there one day. He'll likely do the same thing he tried to do to Flynn and keep himself aloof. He adores Estelle, but in Aather there are a LOT more people who are just generally better than him that she can develop off of.
I've got it narrowed down to something from early game, since I don't want to unveil the "Child of the Full Moon" business just yet. I'm considering the monster attack at Deidon Hold, since that'll let her know that she's a healer and also allow her to recognize Yuri...And also allow her a healthy dose of "run into traffic" syndrome.

8|a Right now I think they are comfortable but still a little gunshy around each other! There's definitely, for Yuri at least, a much greater sense of comfort and ease of physical affection than there was before—the Odile game for instance—but they still haven't really gotten o the meat of what's between them.
Hmmm, I would say it is def a weird space in that Chariot and Yuri are comfortable with each other and the same time not? Like, when they're together, they're pretty comfortable in terms of just physical affection but it doesn't seem like there's much of an emotional connection/dependence/WHATEVER they had before because they've both found other people to have their feelings at. Add on over that they've both been kind of busy doing their own thing and yeah they definitely haven't had the time to kind of figure out where they are with each other.
