Honestly Yuri could not be more pleased about them dating. Of course before he and Flynn did whatever there was a sort of tsun "Good! Okay! They can be together and leave me the hell alone!" But now he is just kinda of, Well good for both of them couldn't happen to nicer guys. But also there's an element of "What is even dating". It doesn't really... mean much of anything to him, especially since Flynn and Chariot were already having sex and spending a lot of time together and from what Yuri understands that is dating?
If anything, HE'S the one who feels like the odd man out. He sort of hopes that this weird triangle of theirs will even out to a point where he can be comfortable again with Chariot so he is not so unsure all the time of what their footing is. While he is happy that they're dating, he's kind of... some adjective for sad that it's so awkward for him.
Why did Chariot think Yuri was going to care... WHAT WAS HE EXPECTING TO HAPPEN. What did he think of Yuri's reaction.
Honestly, Chariot has no idea where Yuri and Flynn's friendship is at. He DOES know that Flynn kissed Yuri and enjoyed it and will possibly be seeking out further justice kissing, and that they both do care about each other even though they're dumb about it and from Chariot's view he's the odd one out because they share a much longer and deeper history than he does with either one of them.
WHAT HE WAS EXPECTING was some sort of denial or no or even just a reminder that Flynn is probably too good for him. He wasn't necessarily expecting Yuri to say it, but he is expecting it from somewhere because that's what he thinks about himself? The whole 'I'm corrupting this really great knight look at all the things I have taught him already'.
Yuri's reaction... caught him kinda offguard because he was expecting something more negative and so he's still kind of waiting for the other foot to drop. He doesn't think Yuri really said all he really wanted to say about it, so he's kind of just... waiting for another cookie to come flying his way sometime soon.
MOSTLY STUPID THINGS? Especially their stupid quests. Those were great; he basically got to drape on Chariot and banter at him while they watched everyone else run around and have fun. In general it was a very content, happy feeling: get to be effective and get to hang out with bro. Basically he misses being bros. He liked having this relationship where nothing was expected out of him but the pleasure of his company.
