Hm. Of course I have no problems with it. That would be a liability for a detective, particularly one in my position. But neither would I say I enjoy it particularly. Rather than the physical act of violence itself, you could say I like to be in control. I like to be the one inflicting pain on others. There are a lot of fun ways to do that.
Pain, humiliation, shame... the best is that look of agonized realization when someone is forced to acknowledge something they've been denying. Or when they realize the mistake they've made when dealing with me,
