SO HILARIOUS. Yuri thinks Echo is pretty cute, and her sense of humor really struck him as the exact kind of humor you need when dealing with Vincent... Interested in teasing and broing with her.

YURI IS MOSTLY COOL IN ECHO'S BOOK. Mostly. He's easy to chat with, and though she couldn't remember his name she did very vaguely remember getting along with him when she first arrived, and during the first game she played! (Faces > Names, ok.) HOWEVER: he is rude!!! It offended her that Yuri laughed at her when she was being dead serious. Maybe it was because he caught Echo at a bad time when she's currently irritable and judgmental about every little thing, but that seriously did bother her. :||||
And Echo doesn't actually mind that Yuri and Vincent are an ~item~. She will pass by them making-out someday and simply shrug. It just caught her off guard annnnnd I don't need to go into detail how since she ICly explained her thought process! Knowing this now, she does hope to prod Yuri a little more since he IS cozy with her master. '_'d
Oh god... FAR ENOUGH THAT IT MAKES ME NERVOUS. I will bullet point some areas.
1. Waaay more open, both sexually and emotionally. canonically, Yuri is very closed-off because, basically, he doesn't think he's good enough for other people (that is a very simple way of putting it).
2. He's a lot LESS self-denying. In canon he tends to put his own wants on the backburner 100% of the time. In Aather, he's learned to be a bit more selfish and indulgent, and a lot of that has to do with Vincent.
3. He's a lot less hard, in general. In canon he has years of hating the empire and struggling futility against a system he couldn't beat and having to make really hard decisions. In Aather Yuri started off as a totally normal young man, and largely because of Vincent he never really had to build up his walls to the same extent.
That's all I can think of right now. How about for Echo?
-She has a healthy(-ishhh) amount of self-esteem! -She views herself as someone who deserves to be treated respectfully. -She'll just about always voice her opinions when she has them. -She doesn't push herself away from people for the reasons canon Echo did, though she's still mostly interested in just watching them.
Name 3 of Yuri's least favorite people in Aather. Bonus points for little reasons why! :>
- Sasuke! He's tried to have sex with Chariot in the kitchen like TWICE and both times Sasuke has walked in on them and tried to kill them... Also he's sticking his nose where Yuri doesn't think it belongs where Vincent is concerned.
- Sion is still... well, definitely not in his top ten. He got really pissed at Sion during the Cry Wolf game because he saw Sion as feeding the paranoia that led to like two of his favorite people to be hurt. He doesn't so much dislike him anymore as he is a giant MEH at him.
- WHOEVER IS TRYING TO KILL CHARIOT... He knows it's someone, but not who.
- Alena?! Because she's been nothing but helpful to Echo (calling her a friend, giving her fruit in the past, attempting to help her discover her skills, training her a little, etc) and, as weird as Echo thinks she is, she's tolerable and not OVERBEARINGLY cheerful. At least, compared to other people she's met. Echo likes positive, energetic people when they're not overwhelming.
- Probably Rolo. He's the only Turquoise who hasn't done anything stupid in Echo's eyes yet! \o/
- Yayoi and Katou tie. Yayoi is a pretty good leader, even if Echo's been doubting her competence as of late, and though Katou is lazy and somewhat :\a-worthy he's still pretty okay. Oh, and them brownies. :Ba
The 3/7 of Turquoise unmentioned doesn't make this list because they're jerks/incompetent/stupid. At least for now.
