He is... not entirely displeased by his team, or even by the situation. It seems like there are lots of strong people to fight, so he is biding his time until he regains his weapon and starts getting the hang of his own fighting style. Right now the biggest thorn in his side is, of course, Dino who won't leave him alone and whom he also can't leave alone because he is strong... :T
What does Spitfire think of having an amoral axe crazy teenager on his team?
As long as the amoral axe crazy teenager doesn't go amoral and axe crazy on Iolite, we're pretty good. Spitfire is a little amused by him in the same way Spitfire is a little amused by Mukuro. IDK he has this weird thing for people who are likely to threaten to kill him. Blame it on his remembered relationship to Sano. :|a
Who all has Hibari gotten to fight with him so far?
On the flip siiide though it was good to prod Vincent's sensitive places. Like Yuri said, Vincent is GOOD at hiding, and while he is getting BETTER at figuring him out he is still not on it 100% of the time. I think they are at a bit of a crisis but it's hard to articulate; Yuri has already resolved that he'll go where Vincent goes and fight tooth and nail to protect him even from himself, but he is afraid Vincent will just flip his apathy switch one day and that will be that.
So Oz I heard some bad things happened to YOUR Nightray boy. What were Oz's feeling son that?
Hilariously it came at a moment when Oz was doing pretty good because Ruby saved him in the doom game but Gil's going emotionless and shooting Mika negated all of that almost instantly for him. So he was angry at the situation for being messed up like that, he was angry at Wrath for not seeing that something was clearly wrong with Gil, angry at Mukuro for not backing down, angry at the game for giving Gil that option, angry at Gil for taking it, and angry at whatever it is inside of Gil that gave him so much power over Gil in that situation. BASICALLY IT WAS LIKE A MILLION OF OZ'S BUTTONS ALL PUSHED AT ONCE. He also felt really useless because the task Odile gave him was something he couldn't complete because he knows that Ruby wouldn't make displays of love like that and they especially wouldn't do so for Gil of all people. The whole situation has pretty much thrown Oz's discord with his own team as well as Gil's lack of self-preservation right into his face. He's pushing a lot of these issues down because he needs to focus on Ruby now but he's probably going to smack Gil in the face for taking an option like that and yell at him once he gets back.
Honestly he probably wasn't on the couch for more than two minutes. Went into the kitchen, tried to cook something, lost concentration, went outside, wandered through the library, pace, pace, thinking thinky thoughts about Vincent and Gilbert and Ellie and home and Estelle and Raven. Passed out on the kitchen table and woke up after an hour to get dressed.
Haha, he landed in the pillow fort and didn't wake up until the morning. It was a rough night for him, so he passed out once Yuri wimped out to the couch.
Would Yuri tell Elliot anything about what happened? What would he say?
Hibari tolerates Dawn to a larger degree than he does most people who are not Dino and Obsidian. So... yes. He does not mind 'spending time' with him. :|
Dawn's preconceptions of Hibari v. the real thing?
Pretty close actually... what he mostly got out of Acedia's memory was 'wow this is the only guy who takes fighting seriously in this entire universe'. And since Hibari FOUGHT UNTIL HE COULDN'T MOVE Dawn did gather that he takes it VERY seriously... And since Hibari has been tolerant toward him he hasn't actually seen much of Hibari's totally insane irrationality.
Hibari is more... petulant... than he expected. It's definitely cute. And he's heard enugh about him from Dino to have the vague idea that this kid is a little crazy, but nothing really sticks out of him as a point of worry or contention so he's just like derp derp this is a cool guy to hang out with.
Are Dawn and Yuri ever really going to have a sleep over and talk about crazy boyfriends.
Because he has accepted his role as the guy who Does the Job No-One else wants to do, he has an off-kilter morality, and he has almost like no self-worth.
Acedia what are you impressions on Yuri and Hibari?
. . . he has very little impressionings of Yuri because half the time Yuri is just "that knight". Occasionally he might remember relevant information but the times they thread is too sporadic for him to carry it through.
Hibariii.
He remembers most of the Kokuyou arc. He remembers beating the crap out of Hibari and also later getting whallopped by him. And I think one other instance. I mean, really, Mukuro has a general positive opinion of Hibari. He'd just also grind his face into the ground for the satisfaction of it. ... He's also waiting tho for Hibari to remember he beat him up that one time.
THINGS WE DIDN'T TALK ABOUT IN CHAN LAST NIGHT, HMM. Oh, I know, how about: Does Yuri have any thoughts on Raven and Beatrice? He did see Raven with a broken arm helping her with a broken leg that one time...
Nooot really. It is kind of annoying that Raven is on his case for picking up injuries in games when he apparently does the same thing but I don't think he knows Raven and Beatrice are any more than passing acquaintances.
So, really, how would Raven feel if Yuri told him straight out that he let Vincent torture him?
Like I was saying, Raven would honestly feel better about that at this point than learning Yuri was lying to him again. He is upset that Yuri gets himself hurt, but he is more upset that Yuri does not seem to think that this is a thing worth doing only for good reasons or talking about with people. So all Raven knows is that Yuri is valuing his own well being below... something Raven doesn't really understand. If Yuri was like "yeah Vincent is fucked up but I love him and sometimes he needs to torture someone and I can be there for that" Raven would... still not be happy, obviously, but at least that is something he can understand better!
On a romantic/sexual relationship level it would probably be a death blow to any hopes Raven might have of working things out with Yuri in that way, because obviously Vincent is infinitely more important to Yuri than Raven could ever be, but... he doesn't actually have any hopes left so that wouldn't make any difference really. And on a party relationship level it would be better because he could be like "OKAY THAT IS UNHEALTHY but at least he's willing to talk about it, maybe that means it can be kept under control and maybe we can work on Yuri valuing himself as much as he does Vincent."
I was thinking more about the role-reversal/crash thing, and really the reason Raven hates Yuri not talking about his issues is that Raven didn't talk about them until after he kidnapped Estelle and tried to get Yuri to kill him. When Raven really has no idea what is going on with Yuri except warnig signs he can imagine the worst might happen at any moment. NO MATTER HOW MANY ISSUES YURI HAS it is still better if he's talking about them.
Is there any chance in hell of Yuri actually doing that...
Either way works for me, really. On screen could be interesting, since the fact Hibari would just keep getting up if you hit him would remind Neji of Lee... An evil, evil Lee.
Neji is actually pretty happy with Iolite as a whole, especially as long as they're winning over all. He's really only recently gotten to the point where he was really going to identify a team or feel protective or possessive of them as such. For the most part, the whole teamdere thing he's seen in Tiger's Eye or Turquoise... seems nice, but not really for him. So he's pretty comfortable with crazy team, as long as it doesn't start spilling over inconvenient places and they function well enough in games.
I think he's pretty well adapted to it by this point.
What does Hibari think of it? (Hey, if you need to be on a team, at least yours has a dragon?)
Hibari doesn't have super strong impression of Jaina. For him, it's basically: Well, she could be strong but her attitude makes her weak. He thinks her morals are hypocritical and ridiculous (as he thinks most morals are) and enjoys mocking her for them on occasion, but mostly he's uninterested. Even when she turned dark side she kind of failed to flip his interest switch.
Ha, Jaina also sees Hibari as hypocritical, and generally considers him as blind to the the metaphorical "big picture." You need other people in order to be Hibari~ If you had no one to support you and you just spend all day every day being the guy getting into fights and doing the cool kid walk-away you'd starve to death~
Out of curiosity, was there any particular reasoning on apping Hibari to a team as opposed to as a knight?
